Carbaryl

  • When mixed with Reldan or Fenitrothion, provides the best possible disinfestation and protection against a range of stored grain insect species
  • Will go off over night and wreck pump seals, only mix up enough to use on the day

Permaguard (diatomaceous earth)

  • Effective against all insects
  • Do not use as a grain treatment
  • Can be slow acting especially in cooler months when insects are not as mobile
  • Strong half life

Spray Nozzle and Auger Mount

  • GSS offer 2 x different options depending on your preferred mounting position. We have a curved plate to enable tack welding onto an auger barrel or a screw on version which quickly fixes to flat areas on swing away augers
  • GSS recommend the use of flat fan nozzles.
  • Know your auger, conveyor or elevator capacity so we can tell you how many L/min the nozzle needs to put out.

  • Insect Growth Regulator - Group 7A
  • Wide spread resistance to lesser grain borer.
  • Mix with Conserve Grain Protector & Reldan / Fenitrothion for complete control of all stored grain insect species
  • Not suitable for structural treatment
  • Can be applied to MALT Barley, Wheat, Sorghum, Maize
  • Care should be taken not to treat the same parcel of grain twice

  • Made from Quality materials, glass and stainless steel, these flowmeters do not discolor in the sun or after extended periods of chemical use.

  • 3 month withholding when applied at full rate
  • Does not control lesser grain borer and saw tooth grain beetle
  • Can be used on MALT Barley, Wheat, Sorghum, Maize
  • Residue tolerance for Fenitrothion is significantly lower in many international markets than the residue tolerance for Chlorpyriphos methyl (Reldan/Biochlor). Contact GSS for more information.
